Tanen Construction Company was formed in the mid 1950’s
under the direction of the Tanen brothers, Nathan and Melvin. The brothers founded the company on the principles of quality, value and personal attention to detail and worked tirelessly to uphold these principals. They personally oversaw every detail of their projects from site development to the design and construction of the homes. Our size has grown, but our work ethic remains the same.
Our tradition of excellence continues today as Harry Tanen the owner and president personally continues to oversee construction. He, like the founders of Tanen Homes, is a “hands on” builder who learned his craft from the ground up. As a teenager he worked in the field. Later, he graduated with honors from Florida International University School of Construction Management. Since Harry formed Tanco Construction Co., Inc. in 1981, he has built numerous custom homes in Wellington and the city of Atlantis, as well as additions, remodeling, and major repairs in Delray Beach, Wellington, and Miami. Tanco Construction has built over 300 homes in The Acreage of Royal Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, Jupiter Farms, and Delray Beach within the past 5 years.
