A. We are a family-owned custom home building company. Tanen Homes was founded by Nathan and Melvin Tanen in 1957. Harry Tanen, Nathan’s son, incorporated Tanco Construction Co. Inc. Today, Harry and his brother Joel Tanen continue to practice the principals of the founders: produce quality work, ensure superior craftsmanship and provide excellent customer service. It was Nathan’s belief that if you’re going to do something, do it right the first time. Harry and Joel continue to embrace that concept.
